Why Japanese and Chinese Pokémon?
Japanese booster boxes hold 30 packs at 5 cards a pack and carry higher hit rates than the English equivalent, usually at a lower price per box. The card stock is the same stock used across every Asian-language release.
Simplified Chinese is the least understood corner of the hobby and the most interesting one right now. Gem Pack volumes use a rarity system found nowhere else, with exclusive artwork that never appears in English or Japanese. CSV slim boxes hold 15 packs at 5 cards a pack. Sets release later than Japan and often carry region-exclusive alternate arts.
Set names get translated inconsistently across sellers, which is why our Chinese listings include every name a set trades under. If you searched one name and landed here, you are in the right place.
